Dear MNCS Students, Parents and Peers,
We are all creating a new space. We do not have a choice of being everywhere we want to be right now. So we search for a space inside and look for a space outside that is safe and worthwhile. A place that is free, healthy, kind, whole, nurturing, fun, funny, challenging and worthy of each of our (your) dreams.
In order to make these spaces we need to pull out all of our resources. One resource I am interested in is CREATIVITY and the determination of our human spirit to use it. That is how we can make a new space worthy of all of our lives. Children of all ages can help us see a new space with creative play, art, music and movement and we can help them grow that space and bring it into ours...
Breath in the positive and breath out the negative. Breath in a new space and breath out the old space. Breath in creative new ideas to make your place...and keep breathing.
We will travel in this new space together and I am so glad for each and everyone of you! Here we go!!!!
Keep creating,
Your Art Advisor, Mrs Dahl-Shetka aka Ms. K
PS. I think I like the term Distance Socializing better than Social Distancing. I think it means to be at a safe distance, with a mask, and talk or call someone from home and see how they are!
So that is my bumper sticker of the day.
